In Pittsburgh, PA, a construction crew recently discovered a unique piece of history. While turning soil for the development of a new condominium, the Franjo Construction Crew unearthed a cache of cannonballs from the American Civil War era. The discovery of these relics is incredible, not only for history as a whole — but for the present as well. In a time when the realities of the Civil War are being silenced by protestors, it’s amazing to have physical reminders of the time period and its existence. Relics like these, of course, solidify the reality of our nation’s history!
